Indian Markets Close in Green

Indian equity markets ended Friday’s trading session with moderate gains, supported by positive global market cues and buying interest in financial stocks. Despite weakness in pharmaceutical and media shares, benchmark indices managed to close higher.

The NIFTY 50 settled at 23,719, gaining 64 points (+0.2%), while the BSE Sensex closed at 75,415, up 231 points (+0.3%). Around 31 stocks from the NIFTY50 index ended in positive territory, indicating selective market strength.
